What accounting software do you use?

I'm certified in AgExpert Accounting and QuickBooks.However, I serve in excel/ google spreadsheets too.I use online software so that you can access all of your financial data in real time from anywhere.

How much do you charge?

Services are based on many factors including number of bank accounts, transactions, accounts payables and receivables, etc. In order to quote you correctly I need to have the full scope of your operation and what you are looking for, which I gather through a free discovery call and application form.Our base monthly bookkeeping package starts at $300/month and varies depending on your specific needs.If your bookkeeping is months or years behind, a "catchup" is needed before you can become a monthly bookkeeping client. Because they involve multiple months, catchups are a 4 figure investment ($1,000+).

Do you prepare bank loan applications?

YES! Since I worked at two of the big 5 financial institutions I know what lenders are looking for. A streamlined application often results in quicker turn around, lower rates, and less collateral.Bank compliance and loans are additional services. Book a discovery call to explore your needs.

Where are you located?

I live near my husbands' family crop farm, just north of Lethbridge, Alberta.However, with online software and video meetings, remote is a great option!That being said, I value face-to-face meetings and am willing to come to you within reason. With family farming in Vermilion, I make my way to that part of the province fairly often.

Are you a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)?

No. I don't file your taxes or provide compilation engagement statements.As a bookkeeper, I provide hands on up to date information to help you understand the financial health of your operation and make decisions accordingly.With properly categorized transactions and up to date books, I reduce your accountant bill and speed up the tax filing process.

Do you take care of farm grants?

Very soon. In the meantime, I have a business partnership with someone that is getting certified mid 2024.If you need this service, let me know.
